Well, here goes nothing. Time to pop the champagne. I've been wanting to launching this little business for some time now, and today seems as good of a day as any. It's been such a journey, and one that I am thrilled has gotten me to the point of opening my own little corner of the internet. A place where I can connect with everyone on a personal level yet again.
But before that part even begins, I owe so many people some HUGE thank yous. Lauren Ledbetter - where do I begin? I feel like I was drawn to you for some strange reason, and I am so beyond thankful for that. You created a brand for me I swear you pulled right from my brain, and one that I am so proud of, I want to plaster it on my house. Working with you and Jordan was a complete dream, and trust me, you haven't seen the last of me yet.
And Leila. I don't even know why the stars wanted us to align so badly back in 2004, but I can't begin to express how grateful I am that we did. You inspire me daily. I love the way you live and capture life. Thank you for capturing such important portions of ours.
Yumiko of Hana Floral Design, you are such a gem. The amazing florals you whipped up for my home tour on SMP Living where insane - and I nearly cried when I saw them. Because you went above and beyond, like you always do. You are a true friend and a constant inspiration.
Leah, thank you for making me feel like the most special person ever when I walk into your salon. For making me the best version of myself even when I haven't slept for a week, for listening to my brainstorming while sitting in your chair, and for being not only a beauty genius but a great friend.
To my friends (you know who you are) who have encouraged me to take this leap over countless glasses of wine and heart to heart talks. I owe you so much. Thank you for believing in me more than I even believed in myself.
And to Andrew. My biggest advocate. Thank you doesn't even cover it.
